Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Director of Technical Operations to own the end-to-end health, stability, and improvement of our Human Health eCommerce and Portal ecosystem. You will partner with Software Engineering, Infrastructure/Cloud, Security, and Program leadership to ensure reliable production operations and measurable KPIs.

You will drive operational enablement across observability, resilience, connectivity, and availability while identifying risks and modernization opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 10+ years in platform/engineering or related field; 5+ years in a management role.
• Experience leading technical operations for customer-facing digital apps (eCommerce/portals preferred).
• Strong troubleshooting and incident response across distributed systems and data flows.
• Experience in hybrid on-prem and Azure environments with hosting and operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level technical leadership for application support and complex troubleshooting with cross-functional teams.
• Lead incident management, RCA, CAPA, and post-mortems to reduce incident volume and time-to-recovery.
• Collaborate with developers, TPMs, and PMOs to align operational activities with releases.
• Ensure DR, HA, and BC plans are in place, tested, and actionable.
• Develop and maintain observability, reliability, and performance improvements across platforms.
