Job summary

MKS Inc. is seeking a Technical Marketing Co-op to partner with the Components group to update the technical information of our Optomech product line.

You will learn a web content management system, manage content, assist with photos/videos, and support tradeshow preparation while coordinating with Product Management, Marketing, and Engineering. The role involves independently handling tasks, 20–40 hours per week, and some on-site work in Irvine.

Qualifications

• Junior or Senior undergraduate student.
• Major in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Photonics or related field(s).
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Working knowledge of office software (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Can work onsite in Irvine office when necessary for particular tasks.
• Can work ~20-40 hours a week combination of at home and in Irvine office.
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Update the technical information of the Optomech product line in collaboration with Components group.
• Pull items out of stock for photos and videos.
• Learn web content management system and perform content management work.
• Assist with product assembly setups and content for tradeshows.
• Compare and contrast MKS products vs competitors.
• Assist with testing and evaluation of products and other marketing activities.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Marketing, Web Team, Sales and Engineering.
