Job summary

CoStar Group, Inc. is seeking a Manager of Software Engineering in Richmond, VA. This role leads cross-functional engineering teams, guiding architecture, code reviews, and delivery across AI-enabled platforms and cloud-native services.

You will collaborate with product leaders to align strategy, oversee quality and observability, and champion responsible AI practices in a fast-paced, product-driven environment. Hybrid work model with in-office Mon-Thu and remote on Fridays.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, including full-stack development.
• 2+ years of engineering leadership experience managing software teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership, architectural direction, and delivery ownership for a portfolio of software products.
• Lead and mentor high-performing teams building scalable applications using TS, React, .NET, SQL Server, AWS, and AI tech.
• Drive execution across multiple projects and partner with Product and business stakeholders.
