CoStar Group is seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to impact high-visibility web applications used by millions. You will work in Richmond, VA, with a hybrid schedule (in-office 4 days, remote Friday), applying automation, cloud, and containerization to advance software products.

The role requires 7+ years in automation and hybrid cloud, strong coding skills, and experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD, and monitoring tools. The company offers competitive compensation and extensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• 7+ years automation and scripting experience.
• 7+ years hybrid cloud/on-prem environments (AWS, VMware, Azure).
• Proficient in C#, Node.js, Golang, Python or Rust.
• 4+ years managing highly available environments and CDNs.
• 4+ years monitoring with Datadog/Prometheus/ELK/AppDynamics.
• 4+ years containerized environments (Kubernetes, ECS, EKS, Fargate).
• Experience with Helm, YAML, Terraform, ArgoCD and Chef.
• Experience in Linux and Windows environments.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product teams to deliver reliable, scalable systems.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines with modern DevOps tooling.
• Monitor, analyze metrics, and troubleshoot proactively.
