Job summary

CoStar Group, Inc. seeks a Senior Software Engineer in Richmond, VA to build customer-facing web apps using React and TypeScript, while advancing AI-powered features across our CRM platform. The role emphasizes robust code, scalable design, and collaboration with Sales and Data teams.

Eligible candidates will have 6+ years of software development, experience with RESTful APIs in C#, and familiarity with AI adoption. The team operates Mon–Thu in the office with Friday work-from-home option.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college; 6+ years in software development.
• Experience architecting large scale distributed systems and web apps in agile environments.
• Experience building RESTful APIs using C#; familiarity with AI adoption and development; CI/CD basics.
• Proficient with Git and CI/CD deployment processes.
• Familiarity with AI technologies, LLMs, and agent-like architectures.

Responsibilities

• Build customer-facing web applications using React and TypeScript.
• Design and implement AI-powered software solutions across CoStar platforms.
• Integrate AI skills, agents, tools, and intelligent workflows into internal systems and customer-facing apps.
• Produce robust, maintainable code; enforce development standards and code reviews.
• Collaborate with Product, Sales, and Data teams to identify AI-driven value.
