Job summary

Confidential Careers seeks an ambitious, highly analytical Investment Banking Associate to join its premier Technology & Software M&A group in New York. You will execute complex buy-side and sell-side transactions, divestitures, joint ventures, and strategic advisory mandates across the tech landscape, focusing on software.

You will build and audit detailed financial models (DCF, LBO, comps), apply software metrics (ARR/MRR, NRR, CAC payback, Rule of 40), lead CIMs, teasers, management

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in Investment Banking, Corporate Development, or M&A advisory.
• Experience in Technology, Media & Telecom or Software deals preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance/economics; MBA is a plus.
• Must be located in or willing to relocate to the New York metro area.

Responsibilities

• Execute complex buy-side and sell-side M&A, divestitures, and strategic advisory mandates.
• Build, refine, and audit detailed financial models (DCF, LBO, comps).
• Apply software metrics (ARR/MRR, NRR, CAC payback, Rule of 40).
• Lead CIMs, teasers, presentations, VDRs, and due diligence workflows.
