Job summary

Pearse Partners in New York is seeking an Associate for its Technology M&A team to capitalize on a robust live pipeline and momentum across deals. You will advise on Technology M&A across AI, software, fintech and related sub-verticals, own execution from origination through to closing, draft IMs and teasers, build financial models, and manage due diligence with senior bankers.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of investment banking experience, ideally covering AI, software, services, or fintech.
  • M&A execution experience across sell-side and buy-side, public and private deals.
  • Strong financial modelling and valuation capability; able to own deliverables independently.
  • Excellent communication skills in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

  • Advise on M&A transactions across Technology, with exposure to AI, software, tech-enabled services, and fintech
  • Own transaction execution end-to-end, from origination through to closing, including drafting IMs and teasers, building financial models, and preparing client materials
  • Lead on valuation work, sector research, and management of due diligence workstreams
  • Work closely with senior bankers to support and grow relationships with corporate clients, financial sponsors, and strategic acquirers
