Job summary

Vanguard’s Technology Leadership Program (TLP) invites graduates to join a two-year, three-rotation development track. You’ll design and build applications powering internal systems and client platforms, using cloud, APIs, and full-stack tech.

You’ll lead projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and grow through capstones, hackathons, and mentorship. Ideal candidates have CS/engineering degrees, strong programming skills (Java, Python, JavaScript), and demonstrated leadership and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, IST, IT, CIS, or related field.
• Strong interest in application development (web, mobile, or backend).
• Familiarity with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).
• Experience with coding languages preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and/or leadership aspirations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment.
• GPA of 3.2 or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and enhance applications that support Vanguard’s internal systems and client-facing platforms.
• Develop scalable solutions using modern technologies, including cloud, APIs, and full-stack development.
• Take ownership of projects and deliver high-impact outcomes for the business.
• Collaborate with engineers, product teams, and business partners.
• Apply Agile methodologies to deliver solutions in a fast-paced, iterative environment.
• Participate in technical capstones, hackathons, and innovation initiatives.
• Build relationships with peers, mentors, and leaders across Vanguard.
• Meet regularly with your department manager and program manager for mentorship.
