Job summary
Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. is seeking a Lead Tech Operations Engineer for our Region Services Corporate Infrastructure team.
You will lead Windows desktop services, including deployment, packaging, and automation, while ensuring security compliance and reliability for AWS internal customers. The role requires a strong Windows background, PowerShell automation, and experience in a leadership capacity.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or higher required; Cloud+ or GICSP/GSEC/SSCP beneficial.
- 7+ years supporting Windows OS with 4 of 8 core competencies.
- 2+ years of Technical Lead experience in Windows Domain.
- 3+ years automation/scripting in Windows using PowerShell.
- Experience with software packaging, deployment, patching, and OS deployment.
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required.
Responsibilities
- Oversee deployment, configuration, and management of core ADC services (directory, DNS/DHCP, file/print, app servers).
- Drive initiatives across Vector vertical and partner with Vector Security, Amazon Security, and AWS units.
- Mentor Operational Engineers and develop self-healing automation.
- Design and implement new services and automate existing ones to improve reliability.
