Job summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. is seeking an experienced Windows Client Systems Engineer to deliver robust, highly available Windows desktop services for internal customers supporting the U.S. Government cloud.

This hands-on role focuses on build/deployment, application packaging, and break/fix support across the team’s technologies. The ideal candidate has extensive Windows OS experience, AD/DNS/DHCP expertise, PowerShell scripting, and current TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• 4+ years supporting Windows OS, including at least 4 of: Active Directory, DHCP, PowerShell, ECM, GPO, DNS, 802.1x, disaster recovery/business continuity, AI, Automation.
• ECM experience for OS imaging, patching, and software deployment.
• PowerShell or equivalent scripting experience.
• Current, active US Government security clearance of TS/SCI with polygraph; willing to opt into a commensurate clearance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Windows desktop services, including build/deployment capabilities.
• Administer, maintain, and operate Active Directory Windows-based networks.
• GPO policy validation and impact assessment.
• Security compliance – OS/application hardening, vulnerability remediation.
• Script in Windows environment using PowerShell, AI and Automation.
