Job summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. is seeking a Windows Systems Engineer to support and automate Windows infrastructure across multiple ADC environments. The role emphasizes building Ansible-based automation and PowerShell solutions, while sustaining production services and driving operational improvements.

The candidate must hold TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance and will participate in on-call rotations, mentoring juniors, and advancing infrastructure as code across AWS environments.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent as a baseline
• 5+ years supporting Windows family of operating systems and core services
• Experience scripting in PowerShell
• Active Directory Windows networks administration
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance TS/SCI with Polygraph

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain Windows infrastructure services across ADC environments
• Build and maintain Ansible playbooks and PowerShell automation
• Troubleshoot and resolve cross‑service issues
• Migrate manual ops to code-defined automation
• Define and monitor service health metrics and alerts
• Ensure security compliance and hardening with Security Compliance team
• Create and maintain runbooks and architecture diagrams
• Mentor junior team members and participate in on-call rotation
