Job summary

First PREMIER Bank in Sioux Falls is seeking a seasoned software development leader to oversee a team responsible for creating, maintaining, and updating application programs and systems. You will coordinate the work of developers and ensure adherence to programming quality standards.

In this role you will coach staff on the SDLC and Agile methodologies, drive automation and modernization across enterprise applications and APIs, and partner with management to deliver robust technology solutions

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field preferred.
3+ years of experience developing systems with APIs or low-code platforms.
Experience with AWS cloud-based implementations is preferred.
Experience with observability tools like Datadog is preferred.
Combination of education/experience that would enable candidate to meet essential duties.

Responsibilities

Oversees a team of developers responsible for creating, maintaining, and updating application programs and systems.
Coordinates the work of subordinate developers and ensures adherence to programming quality standards.
Provides training in programming techniques, with a focus on automating, maintaining, and enhancing existing procedures, programs, software, and systems.
Engages in problem analysis and system design as part of the program development process.
Ensures SDLC and Agile methodologies are followed and provides coaching as needed.
