Job summary

Fever is seeking a Tech Lead to drive engineering for a product team, shaping long-term vision and architecture. You will lead large-scale projects, mentor engineers, and ensure code quality and performance across microservices.

This remote role requires 8+ years in software engineering, 3+ in technical leadership, experience with Django/Flask, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, AWS, Docker and Kubernetes, and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software engineering roles within agile environments.
• 3+ years in technical leadership.
• Strong knowledge of design patterns, best practices, testing, and distributed systems.
• Experience designing scalable systems, networking, resilience, and migrating monoliths to microservices.
• Ability to deliver code from development to production while ensuring high-quality engineering solutions.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence technical teams.
• High autonomy and proactive mindset for solving problems with a bias for action.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive long-term engineering vision and strategy in collaboration with other team members.
• Lead and execute large-scale engineering projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and technical excellence.
• Plan and implement architectural strategies to support future scalability and business needs.
• Coordinate and drive high-impact initiatives by working closely with multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews, architecture design sessions, and pair programming.
• Ensure best practices, code quality, and development efficiency through reviews and technical leadership.
• Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies to keep Fever at the forefront of engineering advancements.
