Job summary

FeverUp is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our engineering team. You will work across our global live entertainment platform, building scalable backend services with a focus on reliability and performance.

You will gain exposure to Python, Django/Flask, and modern cloud/container tooling while delivering value in a fast-paced environment. Remote-friendly role based in Spain, with opportunities to collaborate across international teams and participate in hackathons and engineering

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of good practices, testing, and design patterns.
Experience with event streaming platforms such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
Handling services with high concurrency and high-volume requests.
You know how to deliver code from development to production.
Experience with RESTful APIs (implementation and consumption)
Knowledge of relational databases and SQL
You are proficient in business English

Responsibilities

Collaborate with FE/Backend teams to plan architecture enhancements.
Develop production-grade Python code to handle high traffic and measure outcomes.
Participate in hackdays and team-wide engineering activities.
Contribute to launching new microservices from 0 to production.
Mentor teammates through code reviews and design discussions.
