Job summary

3stepIT is seeking a Tech Lead to drive the technical delivery of IT solutions, reporting to the Global IT Business Partner. This hybrid role is based in Warren, NJ or Dallas, TX, blending remote work with regular in-office collaboration with business stakeholders and technical teams.

You will lead architecture and design, coordinate with project managers, analysts, vendors, and other stakeholders, and ensure secure, scalable IT services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of proven experience as a Tech Lead in a technology-driven environment.
• Experience leading technical teams and delivering large IT projects.
• Strong cloud know-how and modern development practices (CI/CD, Agile).
• Solid understanding of software architecture and design patterns.
• Experience with security and data protection concepts; familiarity with ITIL or similar.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to ensure robust, scalable IT solutions.
• Collaborate with project managers, BAs, vendors, and teams to align initiatives with business goals.
• Drive performance, security, and scalability of applications and systems.
• Document requirements and translate into actionable development tickets.
• Own delivery of technical outputs and partner with DevOps for selected platforms.
• Define strategy and vision for named solutions with stakeholders.
• Oversee partner contracts and budget related to projects.
