Job summary

3stepIT is seeking a Tech Lead to drive the successful technical delivery of IT solutions. You will lead a team of engineers, collaborate with project managers, product owners, and stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable development tickets, and prioritize work for efficient delivery.

The role requires ownership of named solutions (ERP, AssetIQ, CRM, ServiceNow, Finance, etc.) and close alignment with US-based deployments.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
3+ years as a Tech Lead in a tech-driven environment.
Proven experience leading technical teams and delivering large-scale IT projects.
End-to-End understanding of business processes.
General know-how with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and modern development practices (CI/CD, Agile).
Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and development best practices.
Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Act proactively and take action.
Balance short-term business pressure with long-term health.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills across organizational functions.
Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and data protection standards.
Familiarity with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.
General know-how in Agile or Scrum methodologies.

Responsibilities

Lead technical decision-making and provide guidance on best practices across projects.
Architect and design robust, scalable IT solutions aligned with business requirements.
Collaborate with PMs, BAs, vendors, and teams; translate concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Drive performance, security, and scalability of applications and systems.
Lead resolution of challenges and mitigation of project risks.
Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for future reference.
Document user stories for development teams and keep roadmaps up to date.
Own delivery of technical outputs for projects and manage platform ownership.
