Job summary

Sourcegraph is seeking a Technical Lead for Code Plane to shape the roadmap and guide cross‑functional teams building AI-powered developer tools. You will own architecture decisions, partner with Product and Design, and translate customer needs into shipped features across Batch Changes, Agentic Batch Changes, and Code Monitors.

You will lead a globally distributed team, drive reliable delivery, mentor engineers, and advocate for scalable tooling that supports developers and agents in enterprise

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience leading teams that build end-user product features, ideally developer tools or AI products.
• Experience partnering with Product and Design to take features from idea to shipped and incorporating customer feedback into the roadmap.

Responsibilities

• Own technical direction and architecture for Code Plane surfaces and ship end-to-end features.
• Set roadmaps, scope projects, and clarify ownership across the team.
• Mentor teammates and strengthen practices for reliable delivery.
