Our client seeks a Tech Lead to deliver upgraded capabilities within a PeopleSoft and PeopleTools upgrade. The role requires substantial experience with PeopleSoft Financials modules such as AP, AR, Billing, and GL, and integration with other enterprise systems. The Tech Lead will collaborate with operations and support teams, lead complex troubleshooting, and guide design, development, and implementation activities across platforms and methodologies.

Responsibilities:
- Deliver upgraded capabilities within PeopleSoft and PeopleTools, with emphasis on PeopleSoft Financials and integrations.
- Solve complex problems, assign work, and provide leadership with minimal supervision.
- Lead troubleshooting of complex issues and drive fixes across systems and applications.
- Communicate downtimes, changes, status, issues, and defects to stakeholders including senior IT management.
- Present complex technical subjects clearly in oral and written form.
- Work with vendors to implement projects and support break-fix, maintenance, user support, and small projects.
- Utilize waterfall and agile methodologies to develop and maintain applications.
- Serve as SME and/or developer/Technical Lead on projects.
- Coordinate emergency patches, service packs, and software upgrades with operations and DBAs.
- Apply Human Performance tools during testing and implementation.
- Provide recommendations and assist in portfolio-level decisions.
- Research and analyze new technology and design solutions based on defined requirements.
- Program and direct others in programming languages, SQL, reporting, and ETL.
- Assist with testing and code migrations through test regions.
- Ensure adherence to design, coding, and source control standards.
- Lead system design and code walkthroughs as presenter or reviewer.
- Process Change Requests and QA documentation for implementations and support changes.
- Recommend IT process enhancements and standards.
- Coach and mentor IT Application Analysts.
- Lead corporate and division initiatives and assist management with planning.
- Manage team day-to-day assignments based on pipeline, queues, skills, and schedules.
- Support after-hours activities during peak periods as needed.
Experience Requirements:
- 10+ years as an IT Application Analyst or equivalent focused on PeopleSoft, including PeopleTools FCM upgrades.
- Extensive PeopleSoft Financials experience across AP, AR, Billing, and GL, with system integrations.
- 10+ years of coding, troubleshooting, problem-solving, logical design, SQL, requirements analysis, vendor management, root cause analysis, and process adherence.
- Technical leadership experience working with operations and support teams.
- Preferred experience with finance tools, PeopleTools, batch scheduling, MSP environments, and after-hours support.
- Preferred experience in schema and database design and expert technical issue resolution.
- Demonstrated success leading others and portfolios of applications.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline. In lieu of a degree, 15+ years of related business experience.
