Job summary

Compunnel, Inc. seeks an experienced PeopleSoft FSCM Technical Lead to drive large-scale Finance implementations, with emphasis on General Ledger, GAAP reporting, and accounting transactions.

The right candidate will combine technical leadership with strong problem-solving and Agile experience. You will guide cross-functional teams through implementation, testing, deployment, and production support on complex projects.

Qualifications

• 8+ years as a technical lead on PeopleSoft Finance implementations.
• Strong PeopleSoft FSCM experience with PeopleSoft Finance and General Ledger.
• Experience with GAAP-based accounting, financial reporting dashboards, and accounting transaction reconciliation.
• Strong understanding of the key data required for General Ledger interfaces.
• Experience on large-scale projects with at least 5,000 system users and projects with total cost of at least $20 million.
• At least 2 years of experience on public-sector projects.
• 3+ years of experience leading technical troubleshooting and incident management processes.
• 3+ years of experience creating technical documentation (functional/technical requirements, design documents, user guides, workflows).
• Strong understanding of PeopleSoft Finance architecture, integrations, interfaces, and financial data flows.
• Bachelor's degree in an IT-related or Engineering field or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and technical leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical activities supporting PeopleSoft Finance implementations, focusing on General Ledger and related financial processes.
• Support GAAP-based accounting processes, financial reporting dashboards, and accounting transaction reconciliation.
• Define and support key data requirements and interfaces associated with the General Ledger.
• Lead technical troubleshooting and incident management, ensuring timely resolution of complex issues.
• Analyze technical issues, perform root-cause analysis, and coordinate resolution across technical and functional teams.
• Develop and maintain functional and technical requirements, design documents, diagrams, user guides, and workflows.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional teams, developers, and project leadership to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Support system integration, data flows, interfaces, testing, and implementation activities.
• Lead and coordinate technical activities across large-scale enterprise projects.
• Support Agile development activities including sprint planning, requirements documentation, and delivery coordination.
• Develop User Stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria as required.

• Strong understanding of the key data required for General Ledger interfaces.
• Experience working on large-scale projects supporting at least 5,000 system users and projects with a total cost of at least $20 million.
• At least 2 years of experience working on public-sector projects, excluding State, Local/City/County/Province, and Federal Government projects.
• 3+ years of experience within the last 15 years leading technical troubleshooting and incident management processes.
• 3+ years of experience within the last 15 years creating technical documentation, including functional and technical requirements, design documents, conceptual diagrams, user guides, and workflow processes.
• Strong understanding of PeopleSoft Finance architecture, integrations, interfaces, and financial data flows.
• Bachelor's degree in an IT-related or Engineering field, or equivalent qualifying experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and technical leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• More than 8 years of qualifying PeopleSoft Financials technical lead experience within the past 15 years.
• 3+ years of experience within the last 15 years leading Agile development activities.
• Experience with sprint planning and Agile delivery methodologies.
• Experience documenting functional specifications and acceptance criteria in User Stories.
• Experience planning and leading functional, user acceptance, and regression testing.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in complex PeopleSoft FSCM implementations.
