Job summary

Mento is seeking experienced senior legal leaders (GC/CLO) to coach members 1:1 via the Mento platform. This fully remote contract role focuses on developing leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

All coaches participate in the ICF-certified training prior to working with members, and ongoing training sessions are required. You will commit 12+ hours per month for 24+ months, with opportunities for bonuses based on engagement.

Qualifications

• 20+ years experience leading legal teams in technology environments.
• Leadership coaching experience or potential with coaching certification a plus.
• Desire to transform people leadership into coaching skills.
• Passion for helping people advance in the workplace to build fulfilling careers.
• Self-aware with high emotional intelligence and ability to create a safe space for vulnerability.
• Growth mindset toward coaching, regardless of prior coaching tenure.
• Comfortable in a constantly-changing startup environment.
• Available to dedicate 12+ hours per month to coaching for 24+ months.

Responsibilities

• Providing 1:1 coaching to Mento members through virtual sessions using the Mento Platform and Tools.
• Participating in ongoing training sessions to improve coaching abilities and skills.
• Communicating with members via your Mento email or via chat in the Mento App in between sessions.
• Sharing coaching tools and insights to enhance practices and fulfill our mission.
• Acting with kindness, respect, and empathy as an ambassador of the Mento community.
