Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
• Valid Alabama Teacher's Certificate.
• Must meet ESSA federal and state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Utilize technology to plan and provide instruction and facilitate student learning.
• Model appropriate and innovative use of technology for students.
• Facilitate and monitor the integration of technology in the classroom.
• Provide modifications for students with special needs, including ELL and students with limited English proficiency as required.
• Select, develop, modify and/or adapt materials and resources which support learning objectives and address diverse learning styles.
• Establish routines and uses appropriate behavior management procedures.
• Participate in administration of local and state testing as assigned.
• Use formative and summative assessment to monitor progress; use data for instructional planning and program evaluation.
• Communicate high learning expectations and set real-world targets.
• Provide instruction on safety procedures and handling of materials and equipment.
• Foster responsibility, diversity, and respect through role modeling and activities.
• Supervise/co-supervise extracurricular activities as assigned.
• Engage in school improvement initiatives and participate in events.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding student/school/workplace matters.
