Job summary

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's Degree and a valid Alabama Teacher's Certificate, and is prepared to meet ESSA requirements. Strong technology integration and professional ethics are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution.
• Valid Alabama Teacher's Certificate.
• Must meet ESSA federal/state requirements or be willing to meet them.

Responsibilities

• Utilize technology to plan and provide instruction and facilitate student learning.
• Model appropriate and innovative use of technology for students.
• Facilitate and monitor the integration of technology in the classroom.
• Provide modifications for students with special needs, including ELL and exceptional education students.
• Select, develop, modify and/or adapt materials to support learning objectives.
• Establish routines and enforce effective behavior management.
• Participate in administration of local and state testing as assigned.
• Use assessment data to inform instructional planning and program evaluation.
• Communicate high learning expectations and set targets connected to real-world contexts.
• Support school improvement initiatives through participation in activities and programs.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding student, school and workplace matters.
