Job summary

Generations Family Health Center is seeking an IT and EHR Support Specialist to enable staff to effectively access and use technology in Eastern Connecticut. The role combines end-user IT support (70%) with EHR system assistance (30%), ensuring reliable tools and workflows across the organization.

You will maintain the SharePoint environment, support Microsoft 365 and Cisco phone systems, and contribute to documentation and onboarding activities while upholding HIPAA-compliant data privacy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or associate’s degree in IT, computer science, information systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience providing technical end-user support and maintaining IT infrastructure.
• Certifications or formal training in Microsoft 365, Cisco phone systems, and Atlassian support/knowledge management.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1–2 helpdesk support for GFHC’s tools and digital infrastructure.
• Administer and maintain SharePoint environment and perform audits.
• Provide basic hardware support for desktops, monitors, and printers.
