Job summary

Verizon Retail is hiring a full-time Sales Associate to grow our in-store sales and deliver exceptional customer service. You will identify customer needs, present technology solutions, and close sales with strong communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One or more years of relevant experience demonstrated through work or military experience.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays with schedules provided four weeks in advance.
• Open to additional shifts to increase income, especially peak periods.
• Additional points: commission-based experience, customer-facing sales experience, and customer service experience are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales by using passion for technology and customer service to expand the Verizon network.
• Learn customer needs by connecting with customers and asking questions.
• Present product insights and solutions to provide a complete sales solution.
• Close sales with effective communication to meet customer needs.
• Participate in training and develop skills across merchandising and inventory.
• Engage with the community and existing customers at events to grow base.
