Job summary

Halo Sports and Entertainment seeks an experienced Event Security Coordinator to lead security programs for NBA games, concerts at Intuit Dome and Kia Forum, based in Inglewood, CA. This full-time role supports the Director of Security Operations and requires a flexible schedule including weeknights, weekends, and holidays.

You will develop briefing materials, evaluate security providers, manage training, schedule staffing, manage credentials, document incidents, and ensure safety across events.

Qualifications

• Two years of security experience.
• Security supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of security systems and guest relations.
• Experience with 24/7 Software, CCTV, Envoy, Genetec, Liferaft, Motorola radios.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle stress and make quick decisions.
• Proficient with email and MS Office; staffing software.
• Ability to learn and thrive in a fast-growing environment.
• Ability to communicate in a diverse environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver briefing materials for security personnel and stakeholders.
• Evaluate contracted security providers and emergency responders.
• Incorporate planning meetings information into pre-event briefings.
• Develop, implement, and document the Event Security training program.
• Create and distribute event-day credential boards for the team.
• Develop staffing schedules and templates for providers.
• Coordinate with providers to track event-related expenses.
• Serve as the primary contact for event-day credentials.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure security screening quality.
• Document post-event reports and maintain incident records.
• Investigate incidents and ensure timely reporting.
