Job summary

OC Sports & Entertainment, LLC seeks an experienced Manager, Event Security to oversee security operations for events at Honda Center and OC venues. You will ensure guest safety, manage staffing, and coordinate with promoters, law enforcement, and venue teams.

The role requires at least 5 years in event security with 1+ year in leadership, and a strong understanding of security protocols, crowd management, and incident response. On-site work in California is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in event security, venue security, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role within a security or public safety environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in using security technologies (surveillance, access control, incident management).

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and oversee security operations for events, ensuring a safe, secure, and welcoming environment.
• Pre-Event checklist: ensure all critical components of pre-event assessment are examined and in good order.
• Develop and execute security strategies based on event-specific needs, attendance, and risk assessments.
• Manage event security personnel, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance monitoring.
• Ensure security checkpoints, bag screenings, metal detection, and credentialing procedures are properly executed.
• Serve as the primary security liaison with event organizers, promoters, and touring personnel.
