Qualifications
- Two years of security experience.

- Experience with 24/7 Software, CCTV, Envoy, Genetec, Liferaft, Motorola radios.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Proficient with email and MS Office; staffing software.

We are seeking an experienced and multifaceted Event Security Coordinator who is adept at crafting, planning, and implementing event security and safety programs. Event Security Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the Director of Security Operations and Event Security Managers, while ensuring that the highest level of safety and security standards are met for NBA games, concerts, and special events taking place at Intuit Dome and Kia Forum.
This is a full-time role based in Inglewood, CA and is eligible for our competitive benefit offering including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan with company contribution, Well-Being Allowance, and more. The scope of this position encompasses a 24 hour, 7 day a week operation with the transition of numerous daily events. Due to the nature of this industry, the candidate must be available to work a flexible schedule including weeknights, weekends, and holidays to cover high profile concerts and NBA games.
- Event Security Team Support:
- Collaborate with the Director of Security Operations and Event Security Managers to develop and deliver briefing materials for security personnel and key stakeholders across event operations.
- Support the evaluation of contracted security providers and emergency responders for events at Intuit Dome and Kia Forum.
- Partner with Event Security Managers to ensure critical information from planning meetings and real-time communications is effectively incorporated into pre-event briefings.
- Contribute to the development, implementation, and documentation of the Event Security training program.
- Create and distribute event-day credential boards for the Manager-on-Duty team and all operational departments.
- Scheduling:
- Assist Event Security Managers in developing and distributing staffing schedules and templates to contracted security providers and emergency responders, ensuring appropriate coverage levels.
- Coordinate with contracted security providers and emergency responders to collect, track, and reconcile event-related expenses.
- Technology
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the distribution and management of event-day credentials.
- Conduct site inspections with Event Security Managers during events to ensure quality control across all security screening checkpoints.
- Document post-event reports in 24/7 Software and maintain accurate incident records within the internal database.
- Conduct investigations and document incidents, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Two years of security experience required; experience leading projects or people preferred.
- High School diploma or equivalent; further education or certifications in security management is a plus.
- Proven experience in a security supervisory role, with a strong understanding of security procedures and guest relations.
- Preferred knowledge of physical security systems, including 24/7 Software, CCTV, Envoy, fire alarm, Genetec, Liferaft, and Motorola radio communication systems and/or other comparable systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle stressful situations and make quick decisions.
- Basic proficiency with email, Microsoft Office tools, and computer software programs used for staffing, access control, and deliveries.
- Ability to learn, contribute and thrive in a fast-growing, dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and positively interact in a diverse multi-cultural environment.
- This position requires frequent bending, ability to move and lift up to 50 pounds, standing for long periods of time, exposure to multiple external elements, and extensive walking through the building.
