Job summary

Olin is seeking a Technology Development Engineer Intern for Summer 2027 in Charleston, TN. The role focuses on supporting the Technology Development team across laboratory, pilot plant, and manufacturing environments, with hands-on project leadership and data-driven process improvements.

The intern will participate in research, testing, data analysis, and documentation, while meeting rigorous academic and legal requirements including GPA and eligibility to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate Chemical Engineering degree with GPA 3.0+ throughout the program.
• Completed sophomore year (60 credits) before first rotation.
• Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) during rotation; not eligible for virtual work.
• Must obtain a TWIC and have a valid US driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead a minimum of three hands-on projects during the rotation.
• Assist with research, testing, data analysis, and technical documentation.
• Analyze operating and experimental data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Support test plans, including experimental design, data collection, and analysis.
