Job summary
State Street is seeking a seasoned technology executive to lead engineering and delivery for the IMS West Middle Office platform. You will supervise globally distributed teams responsible for legacy COBOL/Sybase systems and cloud-native AWS services, driving modernization and operational excellence.
You will partner with senior business stakeholders and client executives to align technology strategy with growth objectives, improve resilience, and reduce risk across a complex application
Qualifications
- 15+ years of progressive technology leadership experience within regulated financial institutions.
- Proven success leading large-scale, mission-critical technology platforms under client, operational, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience managing legacy tech and modern cloud-native architectures.
- Strong hands-on understanding of COBOL, Sybase, C/C++, Unix/Solaris and batch processing.
Responsibilities
- Own delivery for IMS West Applications including architecture, engineering, QA, release management, production support, and operational readiness.
- Drive platform stability, reliability, and production service quality with minimized incidents.
- Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders through proactive engagement and clear business-focused communication.
- Lead modernization, cloud transformation, and DevOps adoption to improve scalability and speed of delivery.
