Job summary

State Street is seeking a Vice President, Solutions Architecture for IMS West. This senior technology leadership role defines and governs end-to-end architecture strategy across applications, platforms, infrastructure, and client-facing capabilities.

You will partner with Engineering, Cybersecurity, Enterprise Architecture, and executive stakeholders to ensure solutions are scalable, resilient, secure, and aligned with business objectives.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive technology leadership experience.
• 5+ years in architecture leadership roles (e.g., chief/enterprise/solutions architecture).
• Experience leading architecture for large-scale financial services or regulated environments.
• Proven track record delivering modernization and transformation programs.
• Strong experience with production environments, resilience, and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain IMS West technology architecture roadmap aligned with priorities.
• Lead architecture reviews, governance forums, and solution approvals.
• Provide end-to-end architecture leadership for complex initiatives.
• Drive cloud migrations, modernization, and platform simplification initiatives.
• Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technology solutions.
• Mentor architects and engineers across the IMS West organization.
