Job summary

FIS is seeking a Project Manager Lead in Jacksonville, FL to drive strategic, large-scale technology initiatives. You will guide cross-functional teams through planning, execution, and closeout, aligning scope, cost, schedule, and resources with business objectives.

You will mentor teams, establish governance, and enable smooth transitions to operations, delivering measurable outcomes and stakeholder alignment across multiple groups.

Qualifications

• Extensive project or program management experience leading large-scale technology initiatives.
• Ability to integrate scope, schedule, cost, resources, risks and dependencies into delivery plans.
• Experience in financial technology or regulated banking environments.
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder management.
• Autonomy and ability to lead teams through ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale technology enablement programs, data migrations, and projects from initiation through closeout, establishing clear outcomes, scope, governance, plans, milestones, resources and success measures.
• Develop and maintain integrated delivery plans coordinating schedules, costs, dependencies, risks, issues, assumptions and decisions across multiple workstreams.
• Direct execution, monitor performance and implement corrective actions to meet timelines and budgets.
• Analyze complex project information to identify trends and risks, providing actionable recommendations.
• Facilitate cross-functional alignment among business, product, engineering, operations, finance, risk, security, vendors and partners.
• Build implementation readiness through stakeholder engagement, training and transition-to-operations activities.
• Establish governance, reporting and quality-control mechanisms with transparent status and logs.
• Provide mentoring and support to project teams to improve delivery practices.
