Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a Tech Control Facility Technician III to support AFCENT. The role requires SECRET clearance, US citizenship, and hands-on leadership in maintenance and troubleshooting of communications systems.

You will work on field installations, provide guidance, and resolve complex hardware/software issues on customer sites. As a senior technician, you will mentor peers, participate in training, and ensure reliable operation of NET Promina equipment,

Qualifications

Education: Associates of Arts/Associates of Science.
Experience: 5+ years of related experience.
Technical Skills: Security+, CCNA (Routing and Switching or Service Provider).
Security Clearance Level: SECRET.
Lead level experience in maintenance/troubleshooting of Tech Control Facility equipment.
Location: On Customer Site.

Responsibilities

Fabricates, installs, maintains, and repairs electronic, mechanical, and/or other types of components and equipment.
May serve as a team or task leader, coaching and reviewing the work of less-experienced professionals.
Apply lead level experience in maintenance/troubleshooting of Tech Control Facility equipment
Work in an overseas location supporting military facilities
Provides advice and a variety of onsite training for customer support personnel.
Troubleshoots a variety of hardware and software problems and interconnectivity issues.
