Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) seeks a Tech Control Facility Technician III to sustain complex communications systems at AFCENT, performing installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting with independent judgment.

Qualifications

• Lead‑level hands-on work in support of installations, repair and troubleshooting of communications systems/equipment.
• Must have the technical knowledge to solve complex problems and exercise independent judgment.
• Education: Associate degree (AAS/AA) required; DoW 8570.01‑M certification desired.

Responsibilities

• Fabricates, installs, maintains, and repairs electronic, mechanical, and/or other components and equipment.
• May serve as a team or task leader, coaching and reviewing less-experienced professionals.
• Lead level maintenance/troubleshooting experience for Tech Control Facility equipment.
• Provide on-site training and customer support guidance.
