Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Site Patrol in Indianapolis, IN. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities include responding to incidents, verifying credentials, and maintaining logs. Must meet age and education requirements, pass background and drug screenings, and may require a driver’s license for driving roles.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check per federal/state/local laws.
• Allied Universal may consider applicants with criminal histories per law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and escalate per site procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of office, warehouse, parking areas and entrances to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials; maintain security logs and incident reports.
• Observe and report unusual conditions or hazards to site leadership or supervision.
