Job summary

Rocky Mounatin College of Art + Design in Lakewood, CO is seeking a Technology Support Technician to join the campus IT team. You will provide Tier 1 support for macOS and Windows across the TECHBAR, assist students and staff, and help maintain an efficient, secure computing environment.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, strong communication, and the ability to work 9am-5pm MST with occasional off-site or emergency coverage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in education and experience.
• At least 1 year leading a technical support team in an enterprise.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts.
• Experience with macOS and Windows hardware.
• Able to describe troubleshooting steps clearly.
• Knowledge of FERPA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 technical support to students, staff, and guests.
• Support TECHBAR operations and mentor work-study staff.
• Assist in IT projects and emergency coverage.
• Coordinate and set up audio/visual for campus events.
• Maintain inventory and equipment checkout.
