Goldman Sachs is seeking a licensed attorney to serve within the Technology Legal team in the US or EMEA, focusing on AI regulation, data protection, and technology law matters across the firm.

The role involves advising on AI procurement, development, governance, and integration into products and services, with emphasis on GDPR, EU AI Act, cloud outsourcing, and third‑party risk management.

Qualifications

• Licensed and Barred Attorney.
• Minimum of 5 years as a technology attorney with AI/data protection experience.
• Strong knowledge of AI regulation in financial services incl. EU AI Act and cloud/third‑party risk.
• Knowledge of global data protection regulations incl. GDPR.
• Experience advising on cyber/data incident response, breach assessment, regulatory notification.

Responsabilités

• Advise Engineering Division and business units on AI regulation and governance.
• Advise on AI development of applications and models.
• Advise on emerging AI laws and GDPR/EU AI Act requirements.
• Support integration of AI into products and services with risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with privacy, cybersecurity, sourcing and IP SMEs on initiatives.
• Provide global legal advice on AI, data protection, privacy, governance and cybersecurity.
• Support governance functions in managing AI risk and firmwide systems.
• Assist in cyber/data/tech incident responses and post-incident remediation.
