Job summary

M&T Bank Corporation is seeking a Team Tech Lead for Fraud (Payments) technology solutions at the Seneca One Buffalo, NY location, with four days onsite and one day remote per week. You will guide architecture, design, and engineering practices across Actimise IFM modules, platform components, and Oracle databases, while mentoring engineers and driving secure, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Combined minimum of 9 years’ higher education and/or work experience.
• Minimum 4 years’ engineering/architecture experience and 3 years leadership.
• Actimise IFM 10.X/11.X experience.
• Oracle Database, SQL, PL/SQL, SQL Tuning.
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in migration projects and banking fraud domain.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for Fraud (Payments) and Actimise platform.
• Guide architecture, design decisions, and engineering standards.
• Mentor engineers and conduct code reviews.
• Develop and optimize Actimise modules and SQL objects.
• Ensure secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
• Lead AI-assisted development and testing practices.
• Drive automated testing and reduce technical debt.
• Collaborate with architecture, product, and operations teams.
