Job summary

M&T Bank seeks an experienced Enterprise Architect to lead financial crime and fraud prevention architecture across AML, KYC, and related domains. You will define target-state architectures, integration patterns, and data foundations across Consumer, Commercial, and Institutional lines.

The role requires on-site presence at the Seneca One Tech Hub in Buffalo, NY for one week per month, coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with related work experience.
• 7+ years in enterprise, solution, data or security architecture.
• Experience integrating financial crime, fraud, identity, analytics, alerting, workflow, and case management platforms.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve financial crime and fraud prevention architecture strategies and roadmaps.
• Maintain current-state and target-state architectures across AML, KYC, sanctions, and monitoring.
• Define enterprise patterns for identity, graph analytics, and data lineage.
• Guide platform integration within regulated environments.
• Embed security, privacy, and governance into architecture decisions.
• Provide architecture governance across strategy to production operation.
