Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Team Nurse RN to provide high-quality nursing care in an outpatient primary care setting. You will educate and train medical assistants, coordinate care with providers, and support patient self-management goals.

Responsibilities include triage, vaccines, wound care, EHR documentation, and supervising staff within BIDHC. A Massachusetts RN license and BLS are required, with 1–3 years experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nursing Program.
• RN license in MA and BLS certification required.
• 1-3 years related experience, new graduates considered.
• CPR Certification.
• Strong interpersonal and patient education skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint/Access).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate quality clinical management of outpatient population.
• Collaborate with providers for preventive care and chronic disease management.
• Provide nursing visits, telephonic triage and patient education.
• Manage INR and Coumadin teaching.
• Administer vaccines and medications per BIDHC policies.
• Document care in EHR and coordinate tests/referrals.
• Oversee inventory and supervise unlicensed staff and training.
• Ensure PHI is used for treatment, payment and operations and report adverse events.
