Job summary

SFMC Home Lending is seeking a Team Loan Officer Assistant to support loan originations and processing. You will gather and verify documents, calculate income, and coordinate with Processing to move loans forward.

The role requires experience across FHA, Conventional, VA and USDA programs and an active NMLS license. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for success in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of mortgage experience across the loan process, including FHA, Conventional, VA and USDA products.
• High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
• NMLS License required.

Responsibilities

• Assist a designated Loan Officer in originating and processing loans.
• Request and verify required documents and follow up as needed.
• Calculate income to validate data and review AUS findings.
• Secure interest rate locks as quoted to clients.
• Prepare prequalification letters and initial disclosure packages.
• Review loan documents for submission to Processing and act as primary contact for calls.
• Manage CRM, follow up with warm leads and track pipeline on a regular basis.
• Participate in pipeline reviews and status calls to clients.
