Job summary

SFMC Home Lending is seeking a motivated Team Loan Officer / Loan Officer with 2–5 years of mortgage and call center experience to join our growing team. You will assist designated Loan Officers, manage a pipeline, and deliver exceptional service from application through processing.

Responsibilities include lead follow-up, initial loan applications, document collection, income validation, rate locks, disclosures, and coordination with Processing and CRM management.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of mortgage industry experience.
• Familiar with FHA, Conventional, VA, and USDA loan products.
• Previous mortgage call center experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred; NMLS license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contact and follow up with leads from internal book and referrals.
• Complete initial loan applications and checklists.
• Request borrower documentation and follow up to obtain items.
• Calculate and validate borrower income for accurate applications.
• Prepare and send prequalification letters and disclosures.
• Review loan documents for submission to Processing.
• Maintain CRM with timely follow-up on leads and customers.
• Manage loan pipeline with regular reviews and status calls.
• Identify issues that could impact approval or closing.
• Maintain accurate documentation throughout the loan process.
• Use sales tools and reporting to track activity.
