Job summary

America's Thrift Stores in Gardendale, AL is seeking a friendly Processing Team Member to sort donations, prepare treasures for the floor, and help our customers while supporting our charity partners.

You’ll work as part of a diverse team, enjoy flexible part-time hours, and contribute to environmental goals by diverting items from the landfill.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to sort through donations and stay organized.
• Team player able to work with a diverse group of coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Sort donated items and identify great finds
• Help identify recyclable items. Even if we can't sell it, we keep it out of the landfill
• Get those great finds sales floor ready
• Load and unload carts to get merchandise out safely and efficiently

Whether we are hanging the perfect jeans (thrifting one pairof jeans saves the world 1,800 gallons of water ya know!) or separating out recyclable materials, we combine our passion for customers and community service.
