Job summary

America's Thrift Stores in Birmingham, AL is seeking a friendly Processing Team Member for flexible part-time hours. You will sort donated items, identify great finds, prep merchandise for the sales floor, and help keep items out of landfills.

You are organized, detail-oriented and a team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment, supporting our donors and customers as part of a mission to give back. Must be 18+ and ready to join our processing team.

What Does a Processing Team Member Do Anyway?

• Sort donated items and identify great finds
• Help identify recyclable items. Even if we can't sell it, we keep it out of the landfill
• Get those great finds sales floor ready
• Load and unload carts to get merchandise out safely and efficiently

Whether we are hanging the perfect jeans (thrifting one pairof jeans saves the world 1,800 gallons of water ya know!) or separating out recyclable materials, we combine our passion for customers and community service.
