Job summary

America's Thrift Stores in Prattville, AL is seeking a part-time Processing Team Member. Monday through Friday with a set schedule, no nights or weekends, to sort donated items, identify treasures, and prepare finds for the floor. You will help recycle items and keep waste out of landfills while joining a diverse team

We offer flexible hours, growth opportunities, and a chance to contribute to our charity partners and community. Must be 18 or older and ready to join our processing team.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to sort through donations and identify treasures.
• Willing to load and unload carts for merchandise movement.
• Reliable team member with a tidy, organized approach.

Responsibilities

• Sort donated items and identify great finds.
• Identify recyclable items and keep waste out of landfills.
• Prepare great finds for the sales floor.
• Load and unload carts to move merchandise safely and efficiently.

What Does a Processing Team Member Do Anyway?

• Sort donated items and identify great finds
• Help identify recyclable items. Even if we can't sell it, we keep it out of the landfill
• Get those great finds sales floor ready
• Load and unload carts to get merchandise out safely and efficiently
