Job summary

LH Mercantile, LLC, a Pet Supplies Plus franchisee, seeks a part-time team member for Grayslake, IL to deliver friendly service to neighbors and their pets. You will assist customers, stock shelves, and help with live animals while maintaining a clean, safe environment.

Ideal candidates love pets, build customer relationships, multitask well, and can lift up to 50 pounds. Weekend availability is preferred to support store needs.

What You do:

• Provide friendly, knowledgeable service to neighbors, assist with product selection, answer questions about pet care, and support sales initiatives.
• Greet neighbors (customers), collect neighbor data, follow standard operating procedures for cash handling, returns, and coupon policies, etc.
• Stock shelves, rotate products, maintain displays, and assist with receiving and tracking inventory to ensure accuracy and product availability; assist with carry outs, and planogram integrity.
• Ensure proper feeding, cleaning, handling, and monitoring of live animals in the store to maintain health, safety, and compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment for neighbors, team members, and animals, including adherence to sanitation and safety protocols.
