Job summary

LH Mercantile, LLC is a Pet Supplies Plus franchise seeking a part-time team member in the Naperville area. Join a friendly neighborhood store with the backing of a larger company.

Provide friendly service, help customers with product choices and pet-care questions, stock shelves, maintain displays, and assist with inventory. Ensure proper feeding, cleaning and care of live animals while upholding sanitation and safety standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet neighbors, collect neighbor data, handle cash, returns, and coupon policies per SOP
• Stock shelves, rotate products, maintain displays, and assist with inventory and carry-outs
• Ensure proper feeding, cleaning, handling, and monitoring of live animals to meet health and safety standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment for customers, team members, and animals

What You do:

• Provide friendly, knowledgeable service to neighbors, assist with product selection, answer questions about pet care, and support sales initiatives.
• Greet neighbors (customers), collect neighbor data, follow standard operating procedures for cash handling, returns, and coupon policies, etc.
• Stock shelves, rotate products, maintain displays, and assist with receiving and tracking inventory to ensure accuracy and product availability; assist with carry outs, and planogram integrity.
• Ensure proper feeding, cleaning, handling, and monitoring of live animals in the store to maintain health, safety, and compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment for neighbors, team members, and animals, including adherence to sanitation and safety protocols.
