Job summary

Popeyes is seeking a Cook – Team Member to join our team. You will prepare and cook menu items to Popeyes standards, operate kitchen equipment safely, and maintain sanitary workstations. You will help manage kitchen flow during peak times, delivering hot, flavorful food with Cajun hospitality.

Ideal candidates have 6 months of QSR experience, a high school diploma or GED, and availability for evenings/holidays/weekends. POS experience and ServSafe certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months’ experience in the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Availability to work within open hours (evenings, holidays, weekends).
• Familiarity with a POS system and ServSafe certification is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of team leadership and positive conflict resolution.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities):

You are responsible for preparing and cooking menu items to Popeyes® standards, following established recipes, portion controls, and food safety guidelines. You will operate kitchen equipment safely, maintain organized and sanitary workstations, and support overall kitchen flow during peak service periods. This role requires consistency, speed, and attention to detail to ensure every guest receives high-quality food prepared with Popeyes® famous Cajun Hospitality.

What You’ll Bring (Requirements):
