Popeyes in Texas is hiring a Cook – Team Member to prepare and deliver hot, fresh meals in a clean, safe kitchen. You’ll follow Popeyes standards, manage portions, and support busy service times with teamwork and efficiency.

The role requires basic food safety knowledge, reliability for evenings and weekends, and a positive, customer-focused attitude. On-the-job training is provided and opportunities for growth are available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months’ experience in Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) environments.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Availability to work evenings, holidays, weekends.
• Familiarity with POS system; ServSafe certification preferred.
• Strong team leadership and conflict-resolution skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Able to withstand the physical demands of a restaurant.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items to Popeyes standards.
• Follow established recipes, portion controls, and food safety guidelines.
• Safely operate kitchen equipment and keep stations organized and sanitary.
• Support overall kitchen flow during peak service periods.
• Maintain consistency, speed, and attention to detail for high-quality food.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities):

As a Cook – Team Member at Popeyes, you play a critical role in delivering the brand promise of hot, fresh, and flavorful food in a clean, safe, and efficient environment. You are responsible for preparing and cooking menu items to Popeyes® standards, following established recipes, portion controls, and food safety guidelines. You will operate kitchen equipment safely, maintain organized and sanitary workstations, and support overall kitchen flow during peak service periods. This role requires consistency, speed, and attention to detail to ensure every guest receives high-quality food prepared with Popeyes® famous Cajun Hospitality.

What You’ll Bring (Requirements):
