Job summary

thredUP in Phoenix, AZ is hiring a Team Member for our Distribution Center to inspect, process, and prepare secondhand clothing for resale. You’ll open bags, perform quality checks, use a USB scanner and iPad app, and record details such as brand, size, gender, and condition.

You must be on your feet for long shifts, meet metrics in a fast-paced environment, and learn quickly through our hands-on training. Our PM shift offers $18/hour base plus $1 differential, weekly pay, and day-one benefits

Qualifications

• Must be on-your-feet for long shifts (10–12 hours) with standing, bending and lifting up to 30 lbs.
• Comfortable using tablets, scanners, and basic apps.
• Able to maintain focus in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Open and unpack bags of gently used clothing from customers.
• Conduct quality checks on each garment and record details.
• Photograph tags to capture product information and ensure accuracy.
• Maintain attention to detail while meeting performance metrics.
• Collaborate with teammates to ensure smooth distribution center operations.

As a Team Member In Our Distribution Center, You’ll Inspect, Process, And Prepare Secondhand Clothing For Resale. Your Mission Has Two Parts

• Ensure clothing meets our quality standards
• Provide accurate product details

What You’ll Do

• Open and unpack bags of gently used clothing from customers
• Conduct quality checks on each garment
• Use a USB scanner and iPad app with step-by-step prompts
• Record details such as brand, size, gender, category, and condition
• Photograph tags to capture product information

What This Role Requires

• On-Your-Feet Work: Stationary standing your entire 10-12 hour shift, bending, lifting up to 30 lbs, and moving racks up to 150 lbs throughout your shift.
• Performance: Achieving goals in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
• Willingness to Learn: Show up ready to learn—our structured training program with hands-on support in your first weeks will teach you everything you need to succeed.
• Tech Comfort: Comfortable using tablets, scanners, and basic apps.

PM Shift Hours

Monday-Thursday @ 3pm-1:30am

Why You’ll Love Working Here

• Starting Pay: $18/hr for PM shift ($17 base + $1 differential). Pay is based on shift worked and shift differentials may change.
• Weekly Pay: Every Friday is FriYAY.
