Job summary

Caribou Coffee is seeking a Team Member to be the core of the guest experience at our Minnetonka store. You will deliver friendly service, craft beverages, and support the team in daily store operations with a focus on hospitality and high standards.

You’ll engage with guests, handle orders and cash, keep the store clean, and demonstrate Caribou values in every interaction. This role welcomes those who enjoy teamwork, growth, and making day-to-day moments special.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Ability to work early mornings, evenings, some holidays and/or weekends.
• Restaurant, retail, or guest service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides incredible Guest Service by developing personal relationships with guests and anticipating needs.
• Hand‑crafts beverages to Caribou SOPs.
• Heats, prepares, and serves Caribou food offerings to SOPs.
• Takes guest orders and manages cash drawer following cash handling policies.
• Maintains the look and feel of a well‑run store with cleanliness and organization.
• Supports team by fulfilling multiple roles and responsibilities as needed.
• Shows up as a reliable team player and seeks to help others.

Position Overview

The Team Member is the core of the Caribou experience. They are responsible for creating day‑making experiences through delivering unparalleled guest service, making world‑class hand‑crafted beverages and bringing the Purpose and Values of Caribou to life in every interaction.

Core Responsibilities

• Provides incredible Guest Service by:
  • Developing personal ongoing relationships with guests

  • Anticipating guest needs and proactively solving opportunities by demonstrating product knowledge and hospitality
  • Makes enthusiastic and knowledgeable recommendations to delight guests

• Hand‑crafts beverages to order per Caribou standard operating procedures
• Heats, prepares, and serves Caribou food offerings to Caribou standard operating procedures
• Floats between barista and guest service, and willingly fulfills all team member roles and responsibilities
• Takes guest orders and manages cash drawer while following all cash handling policies and procedures
• Maintains the look and feel of a well‑run store by following cleanliness, sanitization and organization standards
• Actively thinks and acts upon what the team and guest will need in the future

Physical Requirements

The physical demands for this position include seeing, hearing, speaking, reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds, sitting, standing, bending and moving intermittently during working hours. These demands may be accomplished with or without reasonable accommodations.

Compensation Range

$11.23 - $18.71 per hour (starting pay is subject to local and state minimum wage regulations)
